Katherine is a specialist family public and private law barrister. She is recognised for her compassionate and calm approach to her cases and is committed to making the Court process as stress free as possible for her professional and lay clients.

Katherine joined Kings Chambers Associates in 2015 over the last 6 years her practice has continued to grow with an impressive case load and consistent client portfolio. She represents all parties, including separately represented children, at all stages of public law proceedings. Katherine has acted as junior counsel in a number of High Court cases involving allegations of significant harm where a child’s life has been endangered, fabricated, factitious or induced illnesses and infant death. She has also appeared in High Court matters as sole counsel. Her involvement in such complex and large scale cases has further strengthened and broadened her ability to advocate for a wide-ranging client base and any differing needs they may have.

Within her private law children work, Katherine, on a regular basis, represents parents and Guardians. She can be depended upon to provide both considered and pragmatic advice, in order to achieve a positive resolution for her clients, and also to act persuasively and confidently in the courtroom for matters which are contested
